Razor Blade 26D / 28D / 28C

DRIVE SYSTEM

DRIVE SYSTEM MOTOR DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY (Machines up to January 2007)

Disassembly

Remove the electromagnetic brake (see the procedure in the relevant paragraph).

Remove the connectors (A) from the drive system motor (B).

Remove the retaining ring (C) on the electromagnetic brake side.

Remove the ring gear (D) and recover the key (E).

Mark the position (G) of the flange (H) on the wheel support (I), for proper reassembly.

Remove the screws (F), then remove the flange (H).

Remove the screws (J).

If necessary, to remove the drive system motor (K), hit the shaft (L) with a plastic mallet.

Assembly

Assemble the components in the reverse order of disassembly, and note the following:

The connectors (A) of the drive system motor (K) must be turned upwards.

If the bearing (M) comes out of its seat, reinsert it by pushing it on the outer ring by using a bush with appropriate diameter.
