DESCRIPTION AND FUNCTION OF THE PARTS
CONTAINER
Observe the maximum fill quantity based on the clear mark on the container. Always hold the
container by the handle!
The container of the blender is made of BPA-free Tritan®. It is unbreakable during mixing and has a
side handle, a small transparent refill opening and a measuring scale in liters and OZS. It is tasteless
and odorless and very stable. The material contains no plasticizers in the form of BPA (bisphenol-A)
and is very easy to clean. The small container can max. 1 liter and the large container 2 liters.
Mixing bowls for high-performance mixers are usually made of TRITAN® plastic. Compared to glass,
TRITAN® is food safe, shatterproof during mixing, heat resistant up to 140 ° and very light.
High-performance mixers are generally supplied with rigid plastic containers, as they provide a much
higher speed than a conventional mixer with a glass container. The hard plastic of the Tritan tank has a
much higher elasticity and therefore has a balancing e
ff
ect on the forces acting on the surface at
speeds up to 30,000 rpm. If the container were made of glass, the glass would shatter on harder mix
since it would not be able to compensate for the forces involved in high speed mixing.
With their hard surface, nuts, beans and grains can leave so-called micro-scratches in the plastic,
which make the blender container appear cloudy over time. With the following cleaning instructions,
the signs of wear and tear are in the frame, but can never be completely avoided.
WHY IS THE MIX TANK IN TRITAN® PLASTIC AND NOT IN GLASS?
The resistance to breakage refers to the mixing process, that means the container will not break during
a blending process. Should the blender be dropped from a great height, it may be damaged by the
impact the container may break. The container should then no longer be used as there is a risk of
injury. Replace the container immediately.
