There are different collection systems for electrical and electronic equipment in the European Union.
Please help us to preserve the environment in which we live!
This symbol means that electrical and electronic equipment should be disposed of separately
from household waste at the end of their service life. Please dispose of this device at your local
municipal collection point or recycling center.
For the implementation of the ElektroG (take back and disposal of WEEE) we take back our
equipment. They are either recycled by us or disposed of by a recycling company according to
legal requirements.
Duty to inform private households according to S 18 ElektroG According to S 17 ElektroG we are under the
conditions specified there not obliged to take back WEEE free of charge.
1. INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE DISPOSAL OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
AND THE IMPLICATION OF THE SYMBOL ACCORDING TO ANNEX 3
We remind all owners of WEEE that you have a legal obligation to dispose of these devices in a separate
collection from unsorted municipal waste. In particular, the disposal of WEEE via the residual waste bin or the
yellow bin is prohibited. The symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin shown below, applied to electrical and
electronic equipment, also indicates the obligation of separate collection:
In connection with the distribution of batteries or the supply of devices containing
batteries, we are obliged to inform you of the following: You are legally obliged to return used
batteries as end users. You can return used batteries, which we have as new batteries in the
range or have led, free of charge to our shipping warehouse (KeMar GmbH, Service,
Rohlfsstr.5, D-81929 Munich). The symbols shown on the batteries have the following
meaning:
The symbol of the crossed-out wheelie bin means that the battery must not be disposed of
with household waste.
Pb = battery contains more than 0.004 mass percent lead
Cd = battery contains more than 0.002% by mass of cadmium
Hg = battery contains more than 0.0005% by mass of mercury.
Please note the above instructions. We remind all owners of WEEE that you are legally obliged to dispose of these
WEEE, spent batteries and accumulators prior to their disposal unless they are enclosed by such WEEE.
2. ADVICE ON THE POSSIBILITIES OF RETURNING OLD DEVICES
Owners of old equipment may hand them in as part of the possibilities of returning or collecting waste
equipment set up and made available by public waste management authorities to ensure the proper
disposal of waste equipment. Optionally, there is also a delivery of electrical and electronic equipment
for the purpose of reuse of the equipment possible. Further information can be obtained from the

3. INFORMATION ON DATA PROTECTION
We remind all end users of WEEE that you are responsible for the deletion of personal data on the WEEE to be
disposed of. On disposable old devices are partially sensitive personal data, which must not be put in the hands
of third parties.
