Check that the detector is on. Try turning both
the Threshold and Volume controls to maximum
•
Check that the battery pack and power cable
are connected securely
•
Check that the battery is charged
•
Try using a different battery pack, available from
your Minelab dealer
•
Check for breaks, cracks or extreme kinks in the
cable assemblies
Erratic Noises
•
Reduce the Sensitivity control by turning clockwise
•
Check that the battery is properly connected and
fully charged
•
Switch Sensitivity to the Auto position
•
Check for sand or grit between the skid plate and coil
•
Check for overhead power lines and other sources
of electrical interference
•
Check that the controls turn to the correct limits
(marked on the decal). Also check that the ‘clicks’
are present on the Threshold, Disc/Pinpoint and
Sensitivity controls.
