Table of Contents

PREVENT FIRE

• 

Use the correct fuel specified for your machine. Unsuitable fuel, such as kerosene, must not be used.

• 

Wipe off spilt fuel with a clean cloth.

• 

Smoking and open flames are prohibited in the vicinity of the machine. Petrol can ignite easily.

• 

Keep explosive and flammable materials away from a machine with a combustion engine, as  
the exhaust system generates high temperatures during operation and can cause fire or explosion. 

• 

In order to prevent fire and to keep the generator/engine well ventilated, the machine should  
be placed at least 1.5 m away from buildings or other equipment during operation.

• 

Always place the machine on a level surface. There is a risk of fuel spillage if the machine is placed 
on an incline.

Check the level by withdrawing the measuring stick. The oil level should be between min. and
