Restoring system power
Restore system power after properly performing required maintenance/replacement of components:
1. Make sure all connections are secure and connected correctly.
2. Remove the locks and tags placed on the source power connection, main circuit breaker, power switch,
and EMO button.
3. If necessary, connect the source power to the S500 system.
4. Place the main circuit breaker on the power distribution unit(s) in the ON position.
5. Close cabinet doors if applicable.
6. With the power switch in the OFF position, the EMO light should be off.
7. If the EMO light stays on, the power is not restored. To restore power, it may be necessary to push in and
hold the Remote EMO Bypass switch until power has been restored to all units in the cell connected
through the Remote or Auxiliary EMO. The Remote EMO Bypass switch is located on the front panel of the
PDU (Power Distribution Units) within the system cabinet.
8. Place the system cabinet power switch in the ON position.
