Verifying DC current
Check DC current accuracy by applying accurate DC currents from the calibrator to the
AMPS input of the Model 2000 and verifying that the display reads within specified limits. Fol-
low these steps to verify DC current accuracy:
1.
Connect the Model 2000 AMPS and INPUT LO jacks to the calibrator as shown in
Figure 1-3.
2.
Select the DC current measurement function by pressing the DCI key.
3.
Set the Model 2000 for the 10mA range.
4.
Source positive and negative full-scale currents for each of the ranges listed in Table 1-4,
and verify that the readings for each range are within stated limits.
