Regularly remove offcuts and clean with a vacuum 

cleaner.

Moisten a cloth in diluted detergent to remove any 

marks.

If the bench is not rigid ensure all grub screws are 

fully tightened. If the brackets are not fixed tightly to 

the leg you may need to take the bench apart to do 

this.
