Installation Guidelines

The KEE Bio-Guard is supplied with the Motor disconnected. 
Always plug in the Motor Connector before use. 

The Bio-Guard Grease Digester

The  KEE Bio-Guard unit  is  designed  to automatically dispense  enzyme  based  chemicals  
into  wastesystems to prevent the build up of fat and blockages in the drainage system. It 
is battery operated for easy installation and can be programmed to dispense set volumes of 
chemicals at set intervals to meet your requirements.

Installation

Locate the Bio-Guard dispenser as close to the chemical container as possible, ideally 
within 5 meters. Try to avoid exposure to direct heat, moisture or steam.

  The unit is already fitted with wall fixing brackets and is supplied with the necessary fixing 

screws and raw plugs for installation.

  The unit is also supplied with 4 meters of pvc tubing and a tube support. The tube support 

end of the tube should be placed in the chemical container and the other end connected to 
the inlet  connector of the Bio-Guard pump.

 

(NB: Warming of the PVC tube will assist in fitting it to the Inlet connector. Shown by 
arrows on pump face).

  Any excess PVC tubing can be used to connect from the outlet connector  to the waste pipe 

or grease trap. An adjustable pipe connector is also available from KEE Services Limited if 
required.  

Batteries

  The KEE Bio-Guard is supplied with a self contained battery pack, which should provide at 

least 12 months operating life based on standard usage.

  To change the battery, start by removing the lid. 

(unscrew the 4 plastic screws, one in each 

corner)

  Then disconnect the battery pack by removing the small white connector with a red and 

black wire.

  Remove the old battery pack, fit the new pack and plug in the connector. 

Priming 

l

  Press the ‘PRIME/TEST BUTTON

’ on the underside of the unit to fill the tubing with chemical 

and to test the pump.
