Is the unit broken?
Troubleshooting checklist
The unit does not operate.
The unit operates with
loud noise.
Water is leaked or spilled.
Room humidity does
not go down.
Odors are emitted from
the unit.
The unit has been
knocked over.
The tank is not filling up
with water.
(The unit is not dehumidifying
very well.)
The tank is not full but the
Full Water light is flashing.
Before calling a repair person, check the following items yourself.

Is the power cord unplugged?
Is the Full Water light flashing?
Is the filter clogged?
Is the unit tilted?
Is the floor surface unstable?
Has the main unit been tilted or knocked over?
Was the main unit moved with water in the tank?
Has the float come off?
Is the room too big? Refer to the specifications for
the maximum room size that can be dehumidified.
Immediately place the unit in upright position.
Is there any item emitting an odor in the room?
(Do this as quickly to prevent as much water leakage
as possible.)

New furnitur

Hair spray, other hair products, cosmetics, or chemicals
・
Newly papered walls
Are doors or windows being opened too often?
Is there a kerosene heater or other device giving
off water vapor in the room?
Is the filter clogged?
Are the air intake or outlet blocked by something?
Are the room temperature and humidity low?
Is the tank properly inserted into the unit?
Has it been removed?
Was the tank banged against the unit when inserting it?
Or, was the tank inserted all the way to the unit?
Has the float come off?
Remove the tank and insert it gently and
straightly into the unit.
As these get lower, the unit dehumidifies less.
Sufficiently ventilate the room.
The unit will automatically stop running.
The Full Water light will flash.
