Getting Ready

Replacing the Battery Pack

Use only the battery pack for the CA005, and be sure to
install it correctly.

Note on Removing the Battery Pack
Cover

Do not pull up on the battery
pack cover by forcibly
pushing the

part of

the cover with fingers, as
illustrated on the right.
If the cover becomes extremely bent, the battery pack
cover is damaged, which may cause injury.

Removing the Battery Pack

Insert your fingers at

and

②

in that order and then pull the
battery pack cover upward.

Hold the cover on both
sides

and pull up to

remove it.

Move the lock
slider to
the "FREE"
position.

Remove the battery pack,
by pulling up on the Pull tab.

Before removing the battery pack, turn the cell phone
power off.
When removing the battery pack, pull up on the Pull
tab. Doing otherwise may result in damage to the
contacts.

Attaching the Battery Pack

Move the lock
slider to
the "FREE"
position.

With the Pull tab of the

battery pack facing up,
align the contacts on
the battery pack with
those of the cell phone,
and insert the battery
pack securely. Then
move the lock slider to
the "LOCK" position.
