If you press [Select soft key], you can see the message contents with a sender phone number and
its arrival time by using [Navi_UP] and [Navi-DOWN].
If you select [Option soft key], following options are available.
„ Delete : Allows you to delete the viewed message.
„ Reply : Allows you to send a reply message to the sender of the viewed message.
„ Edit : Enables you to edit the viewed message contents and the sender phone number.
„
Forward : Allows you to forward the viewed message to someone else.
„ Call: Enables you to call the sender of the viewed message. If you select Save menu, the
edited message is saved in Outbox.
„ Save Number : Enables you get all numbers in the message and sender phone number. If
you select a number, you can store the number into the phonebook.
1.1.3 Outbox
With this menu, you can view the saved messages, which have not been sent.
Recipient phone numbers or names (if stored in the Phonebook) are displayed on the list.
The small icon on the far right side of the each list indicates following meanings.
: It is the unsent message.
Delete, Send and Edit options are available.
With Send option, you can send the saved message unchanged as it is.
1.1.4 Message Setup
1.1.4.1 SMS Center
With this menu, you can edit or store the message service center number.
The number can be obtained from your home network service provider.
1.1.4.2 Message Type
With this menu, you can use a network messaging service which offer you the facility of converting
your text messages into alternative formats (Text , Voice, Fax, X.400,
E-mail, Nat’paging, ERMES).
! Note : All formats may not be available on all networks.
1.1.4.3 Validity Period
This menu allows you to set the length of time period that your text message will be stored at the
Message Service Center in the network while attempts are made to deliver them to the recipient.
