Connecting the mains voltage

Disconnect from mains and secure
against reconnection!
Both the power supply and the related connection
work must comply with national standards. The con-
nection work must only be performed by qualified
expert staff. The connection to the 3 x 220 V or 400
V mains must be protected by fuses. Their specifica-
tions are listed in the chapter “Technical data”.
A residual current-operated circuit breaker (RCD)
with short time delay is absolutely required. KBL AG
recommends the following type: KBL 3200 0770 00
(type (Typ ABB F 204 A - 40//0,03 AP-R).
Should the operation of the tanning unit cause any
interference in the power supply network, e.g. with
ripple-control systems (TRA), consult your power
supply company to have corresponding blocking
elements (audio frequency suppressors) installed.

CONVERSION FROM 3-PHASE TO 2-PHASE
OPERATION
The tanning device is by default set up to operate
on 3 phases but it can be changed over to 2-phase
operation. The wiring for 3-phase operation is shown
below:
