Work Ports:
This field allows the user to type in the total number of active ports up to
four. With a
LACP trunk group
employed, for example you assign four ports to be the
members of a trunk group whose
Work Ports
field is set as two the excessive ports will
be standby/redundant ports and can be aggregated instead of working ports that fail.
As for the
static trunk group
(non-LACP), the number of work ports must equal the
total number of the group member ports.
•
The system allows a maximum of four ports to be aggregated in a trunk group. Having
configured the parameters above, highlight the ports in the right list box to join the
trunk group. Click the Add button and the ports highlighted in the right list box will be
shifted to the left list box. To remove unwanted ports, select the ports in the left list box
and click the Remove button.
•
When LACP enabled, you can configure LACP Active/Passive states for each member
port on the
State Activity
tab.
•
When finished, click Apply to take the configuration take effect.
•
To remove a trunk group, select the Group ID by clicking the pull-down menu labeled as
‘Group ID’ and click then click the ‘Delete’ button.
