Sterilisation in steam steriliser
Before each sterilisation cycle, you have to prepare the medical device
using KaVo care products.
The medical device can be sterilised in autoclaves, e.g. LIC up to a temperature of
135 °C.
Packaging:
Package each instrument individually in STERIclave bags. The STERIclave bag must be
large enough to cover the instrument and prevent the packaging from becoming
electrically energised.
Sterilisation:
Autoclave with triple pre-vacuum, 3 minutes minimum at 134 °C ± 1
Autoclave with the gravitation process, 10 minutes minimum at 134 °C ± 1
Autoclave with the gravitation process, 60 minutes minimum at 121 °C ± 1
Use in accordance with manufacturer's user instructions.
Immediately after every sterilisation cycle, the medical device must be removed
from the steriliser to prevent the risk of contact corrosion.

Further advice for use and safety
When the INTRAmatic handpiece will not be used for an extended period of
time, it should be cleaned and lubricated according to the instructions and
stored in a dry place.
If damaged, irregular noise when running, too much vibration, too much drill
impact or if drill is not held, do not carry on.
To avoid further damage, please contact the KaVo Customer Service Center at
Warthausen, or a KaVo authorised office or your Dental Depot.
