7.2 Manual Reprocessing
WARNING
Incomplete disinfection.
Patients, users or third parties could be infected by contaminated medical
devices.

Only use disinfection procedures that are verified to be bactericidal, fungi-
cidal and virucidal.

If the disinfectants/disinfection procedures fail to meet the mandatory na-
tional requirements, perform a final sterilisation with the sterilisation para-
meters as described.
WARNING
Sharp dental bur in the medical device.
Injury hazard from sharp and/or pointed dental bur.

Remove the dental bur.
CAUTION
Never reprocess the medical device with chloride-containing products.
Malfunction and material damage.

Reprocess in a washer disinfector or by hand only.
CAUTION
Never reprocess this medical device in an ultrasonic cleaner.

7.2.1 Manual pre-cleaning

Rinse the instrument for 20 seconds with process water on the treatment
centre.

Remove instrument from the treatment centre and rinse for 20 seconds un-
der running tap water.

Attach fitting adapter to the CLEANspray can.

Attach instrument with the drive side to the adapter.
4
Rinse through the instrument for at least 3 x 2 seconds (solution must flow
out visibly).

Take the instrument from the adapter and set it down.

Spray the surface of the instrument with CLEANspray until the entire sur-
face is wet.

Allow the cleaning agent to act for 5 minutes.
4
Rinse the product with tap water for at least 10 seconds.

Remove visible contaminants with a soft, PVC brush.

Accessories required:
▪ Tap water (drinking water)
▪ Brush, e.g. medium-hard toothbrush

Brush off under flowing tap water at least 10 seconds.
