6   Preparation methods according to ISO 17664

6.1   Preparations at the site of use

WARNING

Hazard from nonsterile products.

An infection hazard exists from contaminated medical devices.

▶ Observe suitable personal protective measures.

▶

Remove residual cement, composite or blood at the site of use.

▶

Dry the medical device to prepare it for transportation.

▶

Do not place it in a solution, etc.
