Setting and Deleting Indices
During the replay of a recorded programme you can set indices by
pressing (
). The episode you set between two indices will now be
skipped on the next replay (e. g. for films and recordings without
advert breaks).
Indices can only completely be deleted in a recording (see screen shot
above).
Delayed Replay
You can interrupt a current recording by pressing
(in the
background the recording is continued). Press
to continue the
recording just where you stopped it. Press
to rewind the current
programme (to search scenes), and have them repeated by pressing
. After pressing
, you can continue watching the current
programme time delayed.
Audio Mode
The audio modes 'S' (stereo), 'L' (mono left) or 'R' (mono right), Dolby
Digital AC 3 or MPEG stereo can be set with the yellow
key and the
cursor keys.
Search
Visible Search
You can carry out a visible search in four steps (up to four arrows are
displayed) in the regular replay by pressing
and
In audio recordings this function does not work due to the automatic
mute function.
Time-Controlled Search
If the control panel is active, you can carry out a time-controlled
search when you have a freeze image displayed on the screen (
)
by pressing
and
.
The longer the the forward/rewind key is kept pressed, the faster the
search speed becomes. You can tell this by the bar and by the
numerical indication.
Press
to continue the regular replay on the desired position.
Freeze Image
Press
to have a freeze image where desired. Unlike replays of
tape recordings, you can have freeze images as often as you like as
they are of unchanging digital quality without any 'wearout'.
Slow Motion
Press the red (
) key to slow down the speed of the regular
recording in four steps. Each time you press the red key, you halve
the slow motion speed. Press
to get back to normal replay speed.
