• All unused F-type connectors must be terminated with EMK 03, with the exception of the 4
SAT inputs from OSC 100, which due to DC voltage must be terminated with EMK 05. All
unused optical connectors of the optical network must also be terminated with the OTC 1.
• The integrated AGC of the OSC 100 optical transmitters ensures a constant optical
output level independent of the number of the digital terrestrial channels or the number of
transmitted SAT transponders. The signal levels on the RF outputs of the OEC 40/OEC 44
optical receivers are therefore dependent on the number of transmitted digital TV channels
or SAT transponders.
• If an additional multi-switch is to be installed after the OEC 44, a WFS 55 feed-in diplexer
must be connected between the OEC 44 and the multi-switch.
