Honda Handbook reference

Please refer to the accompanying Honda Manual regarding the correct handling of the high-pressure

pump

WH  20X.  Both  this manual  and  the  manual from Honda  must  be  read  and  completely

understood. Your

safety depends on it!

7.2

Cleaning the filter elements

Turn off the pump

Close the main valve A

Open vent valve B

Open the drain valve D (emptying)

Open the housing the cover

Close the drain valve D as soon as the filter elements are standing in
water by 1/6 only.

Put the cleaning brush over the filter element and move it up

and down 6-8 times and, at the same time, flush with water
from the pump (For this process, water must not be filtered).
Repeat the process as needed until the surface of the filter
element is clean. In addition to the dirt particles that will be
removed, some of the ceramic will also be rubbed off in the
process. That is completely normal and desirable. In that way,
you will be assured that the filter element has totally new filter
characteristics when cleaning is completed.

Repeat the above procedure on all filter elements.
