prockets have a needle bearing on the drive shaft, which has to be
greased regularly (once a week). Use only high quality bearing grease
or engine oil
4. Chain catcher
Check that the chain catcher is not damaged and is firmly attached
to the body of the chain saw.
5. Muffler
1.Regularly check that the muffler is securely attached to the machine.
2. Some mufflers are equipped with a special spark arrestor screen. If your
machine has this type of muffler, you should clean the screen at least once a
week. This is best done with a wire brush. A blocked screen will cause the
engine to overheat and may lead to serious damage.
