9. MAINTENANCE
WARNING
Before cleaning ,inspecting, or repairing your unit, make sure that
engine has stopped and is cool. Disconnect the spark plug to prevent
accident starting.

MAINTENANCE AFTER EACH USE
1.Air filter and Gland
WARNING
The air filte rand gland must be regularly cleaned to remove
dust and dirt in order to avoid Carburettor malfunctions.

Remove the air filter after taking off the
Cylinder cover
, Split
the air filter into halves. When refitting make sure that the
air filter seals tightly against the filter holder. Clean the filter
by brushing or shaking it.

The filter can be cleaned more thoroughly by washing it in
water and detergent.
ò
An air filter that has been in use for a long time cannot be cleaned
completely. The filter must therefore be replaced with a new one at
regular intervals. A damaged air filter must always be replaced.
2.Guide bar
When the guide bar is dismounted, remove Saw dust in the bar
groove and the oiling port.
