IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances , basic safety precautions should
always be fol- lowed , including the following:
1. Read these instructions before using this unit.
2. NEVER use a scouring pad on the unit.
3. NEVER leave unit unattended while in use or when plugged into an
outlet.
4. NEVER place anything other than the intended sugar in sugar
receptacle head.
5. Unplug unit from socket outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
6. Please switch off the appliance and cool it down before moving.
7. DO NOT move the appliance when using it.
8. DO NOT TOUCH the hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
9. To protect against electrical shock do not immerse this unit in water
or other liquids for cleaning.
10. DO NOT put the unit in the dishwasher.
11. DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug.
12. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to
avoid a hazard.
13. Do not operate the appliance by means of an external timer or
separate remo- te-control system.
14. Check inside heating element compartment for foreign objects
before switching to ON position. Remove any foreign objects before
using the appliance.
15. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowle- dge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
