● Wheelchair rolls straight (no excessive drag or pull to
one side)

● Inspect frame structure for small cracks/fissures. Ⅴ
● Inspect for bent frame or cross bars.

BRAKES
● DON'T interfere with tires when rolling. Ⅴ
● Pivot points free of wear and looseness. Ⅴ
● Easy to engage. Ⅴ
● Stop the wheelchair from moving when engaged. Ⅴ
SEAT & BACKREST
● Inspect for rips or sagging.

● Inspect for any loose or broken hardware, such as the
frame and etc.

CASTERS
● Inspect the casters for smooth rotation of the caster
wheels and caster assembly.

● Inspect the caster for any wear in the
bearings/mountings and for tire wear or damage.

REAR WHEELS
● Quick-release axles lock properly; lubricate if necessary
(applied to quick-release rear wheel only)

● No excessive side movement or binding when lifted
and spun.
