The string trimmer can be used for trim-
ming grass on walls, fences, trees and
on edgings.
The string trimmer can also be used for
mowing in places that are difficult to ac-
cess with lawnmowers such as ditches,
slopes and clearings.
Modifications and changes that are not
authorised by the manufacturer are pro-
hibited for safety reasons.
The string trimmer is suitable for work in
the open air.
Never mow in damp environments or
during rain.
Never mow wet grass or other growth.

Prior to initial startup, the string guard
needs to be installed:

The string guard must be facing the op-
erator!

ATTENTION
Risk of damage to the string trimmer and
the battery. Check battery holder and con-
tacts for dirt where necessary before inser-
tion and clean them where necessary.
Push the battery into the retainer until it
audibly snaps into place.
