extension cords that are intended for outdoor
use. These extension cords are identified by
the marking “Acceptable for use with outdoor

Use only extension cords having an electrical

Do not use damaged extension cords.

Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter
Protection

This unit is supplied with a portable GFCI,
USL indicates that the power cord has been
investigated for compliance with the
applicable provisions of UL 943, Third
Edition (Standard for Ground Fault Circuit
Interrupters) and other applicable standards.
If power is interrupted in the line, the auto-
matic GFCI will automatically reclose the cir-
cuit to the load after power is restored.
Depending on the GFCI model, it maybe
necessary to manually operate the reset but-
ton to restore power to the GFCI load circuit.

TEST - Plug the GFCI cord into a powered
outlet. Push the TEST button and attempt
to turn the unit on. This should result in
the machine not running. If the GFCI tests
okay, restore power by pushing the
RESET button.

This Product Is
Double Insulated

In a double-insulated product, two systems
of insulation are provided instead of
grounding. No grounding method is
provided on a double-insulated product,
nor should a method for grounding be
added to the product. Servicing a
double-insulated product requires extreme
care and knowledge of the system, and
should be done only by qualified service
personnel. Replacement parts for a
double-insulated product must be identical
to the parts they replace. A double-
insulated product is marked with the
words, “DOUBLE INSULATED.”

specified in the manual.
