STEP 1:

 Attach the high pressure 

hose to the spray gun using tefl on 
tape on hose threads.

STEP 4:

 Release the coupler collar 

and push the nozzle until the collar 
clicks.  Pull the nozzle to make sure 
it is seated properly.

STEP 5:

 Connect the high pressure 

hose to the discharge nipple. Push 
coupler collar forward until secure.

STEP 2:

 Attach wand to spray gun 

using tefl on tape on wand threads.

STEP 3:

 Pull spring-loaded collar 

of the wand coupler back to insert 
your choice of pressure nozzle.

STEP 6:

 Connect garden hose to 

the cold water source.

STEPS 8 and 9 for  Electric Start Machines Only

 ( HD 4.0/40 Ge and HD 4.0/40 GeB) 

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 7: 

Check inlets fi lters, re-

move debris, then connect the 
garden hose to pump water inlet. 

 

CAUTION: Do not run the pump 
without water or pump damage 
will result.

STEP 8: 

Place battery in bat tery box. Use a standard 

12 volt bat tery. 

STEP 9: 

To reduce the pos si bil i ty of spark ing attach the 

wires to the battery in the fol low ing order.Refere  to  
image aside. First attach the red wire to the positive “+" 
terminal of battery and the black wire  to the negative 
“-" terminal of the battery.To dis con nect the battery 
remove the wires in the op po site order as installed. 
Install bat tery box cover and fasten in place.
