Preparing the cleaner
for use

Unpack the cleaner

– When unpacking the cleaner, check the

contents of the packaging. If there has
been any damage in transit inform the
dealer.

– Do not dispose of the packaging with the

household rubbish, hand it in at the
appropriate collection point for recycling.

Check the oil level

n

Screw out the fastening screws on the left
and right of the unit cover, remove unit
cover.

n

Cut off the tip on the cover to the oil
reservoir.

n

Check the oil level in the oil reservoir.

n

Fasten the unit cover.

Mount the accessories

n

Attach the handle (only for units which do
not include a hose reel, bolts and nuts).

Information:
If the handle is too low, it can be altered

as follows:

n

Remove the handle and hood.

n

Unscrew the fastening nut for the detergent
tank and remove the tank.

n

Unscrew the mounting rail from the motor
unit (3 screws) and remove towards the
rear.

n

Turn the mounting rail so that top and
bottom are interchanged.

n

Screw the mounting rail back on to the
motor unit using the 3 new fastening holes.
The mounting rail now projects upwards by
another 85 mm.

n

Re-attach the detergent tank, hood and
handle.

n

Mount nozzle on the spray lance (see
markings on the top of the setting ring).

n

Mount spray lance on the handgun.

For appliances with hose reel:

n

Insert the crank into the hose reel shaft and
tighten the screw.

n

Connect the high-pressure hose to the
handgun.

For handguns with threaded connection:

n

Screw the high-pressure hose on tight.

For handguns without threaded connection:

n

Lever off retaining clasp on handgun with
a screwdriver.

n

Stand handgun on end and while holding it
in this position, push end of hose into pistol
as far as end stop. Ensure that loose disc
on end of hose drops all way to bottom.

n

Push retaining clasp back into handgun.
When attached properly, high-pressure
hose can only be pulled out by approx.
1 mm.. If hose can be pulled out further, the
disc has been incorrectly fitted.

n

It is advisable to lay the high-pressure hose
out in a straight line before reeling it up.

n

Wind the high-pressure hose up in even
layers on the hose reel by turning the crank
handle.

Using the cleaner for the
first time
