Safety instructions

Read these original operating instruc-
tions and the safety instructions of the
engine before using the device for the

first time. Proceed accordingly. Keep all booklets for fu-
ture reference or for future owners.

In addition to the information included in the operat-
ing instructions, you also need to take into consider-
ation the general safety regulations and accident
prevention guidelines applicable by law.

Warnings and information notices attached to the
device provide important information for safe opera-
tion.

Hazard levels

DANGER

Indication of an imminent threat of danger that will
lead to severe injuries or even death.

WARNING

Indication of a potentially dangerous situation that
may lead to severe injuries or even death.

CAUTION

Indication of a potentially dangerous situation that
may lead to minor injuries.

ATTENTION

Indication of a potentially dangerous situation that
may lead to damage to property.

Personal protective gear

CAUTION

●

Wear suitable protective clothing

and safety goggles to protect against water or dirt that
splashes back.

●

Aerosols may be generated during the

use of high-pressure cleaners. Inhalation of aerosols
may cause damage to health. Depending on the appli-
cation, the use of fully shielded nozzles (e.g. surface
cleaners) can significantly reduce the emission of aque-
ous aerosols. Depending on the environment to be
cleaned, wear a suitable FFP 2 category respirator or
comparable to protect against the inhalation of aerosols
if the use of a fully shielded nozzle is not possible.

General safety instructions

DANGER

●

Suffocation hazard. Keep packag-

ing film out of the reach of children.

WARNING

●

Only operate the device in accor-

dance with its intended use. Take into account the local
conditions and beware of third parties, in particular chil-
dren, when working with the device.

●

The device must

not be used by persons (including children) with restrict-
ed physical, sensory or mental capabilities or persons
lacking the relevant experience and knowledge.

●

Chil-

dren are not allowed to operate the device.

●

Supervise

children to ensure they do not play with the device.

CAUTION

●

Safety devices are provided for

your own protection. Never modify or bypass safety de-
vices.

Operation

DANGER

●

Operation in potentially explosive

areas is prohibited.

●

Never aspirate solvents, liquids

containing solvents or undiluted acids. These include,
for example, petrol, paint thinner or heating oil. The
spray mist is highly flammable, explosive and toxic.

●

Do not refuel in confined spaces.

●

Never operate the

device in confined spaces.

●

Damaged wheels / tire

valves are dangerous to life. Wheels / tire valves can be
damaged by the high-pressure jet and burst. The first
sign of this is discoloration of the tire. When cleaning
wheels / tire valves, maintain a spray distance of at least
30 cm.

WARNING

●

Make sure that exhaust emis-

sions are not near air intakes.

●

Do not use the unit if

there are no persons with appropriate protective cloth-
ing within reach.

●

High-pressure jets can be dangerous

if used improperly. Do not direct the jet at persons, ani-
mals, live electrical devices or at the device itself.

●

Do

not point the high-pressure jet at yourself, e.g. to clean
clothing or footwear.

●

Do not spray any objects that

contain substances hazardous to health (e.g. asbes-
tos).

●

Check the unit and accessories, such as the

high-pressure hose, high-pressure gun and safety de-
vices, for proper condition and operational safety before
each operation. Do not use the unit if it is damaged. Re-
place damaged components immediately.

●

Use only

high-pressure hoses, fittings and couplings recom-
mended by the manufacturer.

●

Risk of scalding. When

disconnecting the supply hose or high-pressure hose,
hot water may escape from the connections after oper-
ation.

CAUTION

●

Never operate the unit without a

system separator on the drinking water network in ac-
cordance with valid regulations. Ensure that your do-
mestic water system connection at which the high-
