Empty fuel tank.

Secure the appliance against shifting 
and tipping over.

Î

Only transport the appliance in an up-
right position.

Caution

In order to prevent accidents or injuries, 
keep in mind the weight of the appliance 
when selecting a storage location for it (see 
Specifications).

Î

Park the machine on an even surface.

Î

Insert the trigger gun in its holder.

Î

Suspend the high-pressure hose into its 
holder.

Prior to extended storage periods, as dur-
ing the winter, also observe the instructions 
in the Care section.

Caution

Protect the appliance and its accessories 
against frost.

The appliance and its accessories can get 
destroyed through frost if there are any wa-
ter residues in them. To avoid damage to 
them:

Î

Completely drain all water from the ap-
pliance: Switch the appliance on with 
detached high-pressure hose and de-
tached water supply (max. 1 minute) 
and wait, until no more water exits at the 
high-pressure connection. Turn off the 
appliance.

Î

Store the appliance and the entire ac-
cessories in a frost-safe room.

Warning

Prior to any care or maintenance work, 
switch the appliance off and let the engine 
cool off. In order to avoid an inadvertent 
startup of the engine, pull off the spark plug.

To avoid risks, all repairs and replacement 
of spare parts may only be carried out by 
the authorised customer service personnel. 

Prior to longer periods of storage, e.g. in the 
winter:

Î

Remove filter from suction hose for de-
tergent and clean under running water.

Î

Pull out the sieve in the water connec-
tion using flat-nose pliers and clean un-
der running water.

Î

Set the pressure reducer on the com-
pressor at  30 PSI (0,206 MPa) before 
correcting the tire pressure.

Î

Tire pressure should not exceed  30 PSI 
(0,206 MPa).

The pump is maintenace-free.

Î

Park the machine on an even surface.

Î

Carry out maintenance tasks to the mo-
tor according to the specifications pro-
vided in the operating instructions of the 
motor manufacturer.

Use only original KÄRCHER spare parts. 
You will find a list of spare parts at the end 
of these operating instructions.
