Troubleshooting – BR/BD 550 (battery-powered unit)
Problem

16. Blown fuses.
F1 Control module
fuse
Short circuit
Clear electrical fault condition.
Defective control module (A2)
Replace control module.
Defective instrument panel
module (A3)
Replace instrument panel module.
F2 Drive motor fuse
Incline exceeding 5 %
Select a more level route, or assist the
motor by pushing the unit.
Short circuit
Clear electrical fault condition.
Defective drive control (A1).
Replace drive control module.
F3 Water pump fuse
Short circuit.
Clear electrical fault condition.
Blocked or defective pump.
Remove blockage. Replace pump if
required.
F5/F6 Fuses for
brush/disc motor
Short circuit.
Clear electrical fault condition.
Defective or overloaded brush
motors without red LED (brush
overload) illuminating.
Clear overload condition. Replace drive
motor if required. Adjusting overload
protection on the control module:
Turn CURR rotary potentiometer counter-
clockwise until the red LED illuminates at
the following current draws: BR (battery-
powered unit) 66 A, BD (battery-powered
unit) 33 A. After approx. 5 seconds the
overload protection will switch off the
brush motors. To reset the overload
protection, set the key switch to the off
position, and then again to on.
F4 Suction turbine
fuse
Short circuit.
Clear electrical fault condition.
Defective or blocked suction
turbine.
Remove blockage. Replac e suction
turbine if required.
