General notes
Before using the device read the enclosed original in-
structions of this device, the battery pack and the charg-
er. Act in accordance with them.
Keep these documents for future reference or for future
owners.
● If the operating instructions are not observed, the
device can be damaged and dangers could arise for
users and other persons.
● Notify the dealer immediately in the case of shipping
damage.
● Check the package contents when unpacking for
missing accessories or for damage.
Environmental protection
The packing materials can be recycled. Please
dispose of packaging in accordance with the en-
vironmental regulations.
Electrical and electronic appliances contain valu-
able, recyclable materials and often components
such as batteries, rechargeable batteries or oil,
which - if handled or disposed of incorrectly - can
pose a potential threat to human health and the environ-
ment. However, these components are required for the
correct operation of the appliance. Appliances marked
by this symbol are not allowed to be disposed of togeth-
er with the household rubbish.

Battery pack and charger
In addition, read the operating instructions and safety
instructions that come with the battery pack and the
charger.
This device can be operated with the 18 V Kärcher Bat-
tery Power and 18 V Kärcher Battery Power+ battery
packs listed in the spare parts list.
Safe handling

aging film out of the reach of children.

● Only people who have been in-
structed on how to use the device, or have proven their
ability to operate it, and have been explicitly instructed
to use it, must use the device.
● Only use the device for
its proper use. Take into account the local conditions
and beware of third parties, in particular children, when
working with the device.

safety regulations in hazard zones (e.g. service sta-
tions). Never operate the device in explosive spaces.
● Children and persons unfamiliar with these instruc-
tions are not allowed to operate the device. The age of
the operator may be limited by local restrictions.

pervised to prevent them from playing with the appli-

CAUTION
● Do not use the appliance if it has

device unsupervised while it is in operation. ● Switch off
the device and remove the battery pack before perform-
ing any care and service work.
ATTENTION
● Only use the device indoors. ● De-
vice damage. Never fill the water reservoir with sol-
vents, liquids containing solvents or undiluted acids
(e.g. detergents, petrol, paint thinners and acetone).
● Only switch on the device when the fresh water tank
and waste water tank are installed. ● Do not pick up
sharp or larger objects with the device, such as e.g.
glass shards, gravel or toy parts.
● Do not fill the fresh
water container with vinegar, decalcification agents, es-
sential oils or similar substances. Avoid taking up these
substances with the device.
● Use the device only on
hard floors with a watertight coating, such as e.g. var-
