Switching on the device

WARNING
Risk of injury
Without ground friction, the pad can reach very high speeds. It
can be flung away and cause injury.
Do not switch on the device when the cleaning head is swung up.
The maximum permissible mains grid impedance at the elec-
trical connection point (see Technical data) must not be ex-
ceeded.
Contact your electricity supplier in the case of any uncertainties
regarding the mains grid impedance at your electrical connection
point.
ATTENTION
Risk of damage
The floor covering can be damaged if the device is operated on
the same spot for a long time.
Always move the device when it is switched on.
1. Unwind the mains cable completely from the cable holders.
Note
To unlock the ON/OFF switch, the handle must be lowered at
least 3 steps down from upright position.
2. Plug the mains plug into a mains socket.
3. Hold the handle firmly with both hands.
4. Press and hold the unlocking button.
5. Actuate the ON/OFF switch.
6. Release the unlocking button.
7. Release the ON / OFF switch to interrupt operation.
Control the direction
Left:
Press the handle downwards.
Right:
Raise the handle.
Cleaning by applying the detergent manually on the
floor
1. Apply the detergent solution to the floor.
2. Switch the device on.
3. Guide the device over the surface to be cleaned.
4. If the area is very dirty, run over it several times.
5. Switch the device off.
6. Soak up the waste water with a wet vacuum cleaner or wipe it
up with a cloth.
Cleaning by using the dosing lever
1. Switch the device on.
2. Use the dosing lever of the detergent tank.
3. Pull the cleaning solution lever when the pad is to be supplied
with cleaning solution.
4. Guide the device over the surface to be cleaned.
5. If the area is very dirty, run over it several times.
6. Switch the device off.
7. Soak up the waste water with a wet vacuum cleaner or wipe it
up with a cloth.
Shutting down
1. Pull the mains plug out of the socket.
2. Pull the tilt adjustment lever up and hold it in position.
3. Bring the handle into a vertical position.
4. Release the tilt adjustment lever.
5. Remove the remaining cleaning solution from the detergent tank.
6. Rinse the detergent tank with clear water.
7. Wind the mains cable onto the cable holders.
8. Place the appliance into the parking position.
9. Remove the driver plate / disc brush.
10.Clean the device with a moist cloth.
Transport

Failure to observe the weight
Risk of injury and damage
Be aware of the weight of the device during transportation.
1. Pull the tilt adjustment lever and position the handle vertically.
2. Release the tilt adjustment lever.
3. Tilt the device back and transport to the destination.
4. When transporting in vehicles, secure the device against roll-
ing away, slipping and tipping according to the respectively ap-
plicable guidelines.

age.
1. Place the appliance into the parking position.
2. Store the appliance in a dry room, frostprotected room.
Care and service

The device may start up unexpectedly.
Be sure to pull the mains plug out of the socket before you start
working on the device.
1. Rinse the contaminated disc brushes with water.
2. Wash the dirty pads at a maximum of 60 °C.
3. Clean the casing of the device with a damp cloth and then rub
dry.
4. Check the mains cable for damage.

Check if foreign objects are blocking the pad drive board. Remove any foreign objects if necessary.
