GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1) keep the work area clean; unclean work areas increase the risk of accidents
2) use caution around the work area: do not expose the machine to rain do not use the machine in humid places or where there is
water keep work areas well lit do not use the machine in the presence of flammable liquids or gases
3) be watchful for the risk of electrical shock avoid bodily contact with surfaces that might act as earthing elements (pipes, radiators,
other metallic parts)
4) keep others far away from the machine do not allow other persons, particularly children, to touch the machine or power cable
even unintentionally
5) store safely when the machine is not being used it should be kept in a dry place out of children’s reach
6) do not force the machine the machine will work better if it does not work under stress
7) use the appropriate machine for the type of work to be done do not force small machines to do the work of more powerful machines

11) store the machine carefully keep cutting surfaces sharp follow instructions for lubricating and spare parts inspect the power
cable periodically and if damaged have it repaired by an authorised service centre keep the machine and particularly the handles
clean and free of oil or grease
12) unplug the machine always unplug the machine from the mains power supply when it is not in use and when spare parts or
diamond discs are assembled or replaced
13) remove wrenches and other tools from the machine before starting up the machine, always check that wrenches or other tools
used for adjustments have not been left on it
14) avoid starting up the machine unintentionally ensure that the power switch is in the OFF position before plugging in the power
cable
15) use extensions for outdoor use if the machine is used outdoors, use only electric extensions suitable for outdoor use
16) be very attentive always be aware of what you are doing while the machine is functioning; do not use the machine when under
