SAFETY CUT-OUT
· This jug kettle is protected with an automatic safety device which switches the appliance
off when it is accidentally switched on without water. Please bear in mind that only the
thermostat is switched off in case of overheat, whereas the switch stays in ON-position.
· In this case, unplug the appliance and wait about 10 minutes for the element to cool. Then
pour in sufficient cold water to cover the element.
· The kettle may then be used as normal.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
· Before attempting any cleaning operation, make sure the appliance is unplugged from the
supply socket and fully cooled down.
· To clean the exterior surfaces, simply wipe over with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly. To
remove scale from the inner walls of the kettle you can use a soft brush.
· Never use abrasive products.
· On no account must the jug kettle or its power base be immersed in water.
DESCALING
To remove scale from the jug kettle, use products made especially available for this purpose.
Make sure to use a type recommended for plastic kettles.

In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste electrical and electronic
equipment should be disposed of in accordance with specific rules with the implication of both
suppliers and users. For this reason, as indicated by the symbol
on the rating label or on the
packaging, your appliance should not be disposed of as unsorted municipal waste. The user has
the right to bring it to a municipal collection point performing waste recovery by means of reuse,
recycling or use for other applications in accordance with the directive.
