Tip:
Flipping or turning food halfway through the cooking process
ensures more even results.
5.
When the countdown timer ends, a bell will ring to indicate the end of
the cooking cycle, and the heating elements will turn off.
6.
Carefully take out your food with oven mitts and/or using the tray
handle if cooking on the baking pan.
Tip: the cooking process can be cancelled at any time by turning the
timer knob to 0 or turning the function knob to OFF.
Notes:
•
Although oil is not necessary, a small portion of oil can be sprayed on or
brushed on food before air frying. Make sure to distribute oil evenly on
food.
•
Most foods require flipping halfway through the cooking process for
crispier and more even results. In addition, placing food as a single
layer on the accessory ensures that all sides of the food receive the
same heat exposure.
o
Open your oven and take a spatula to move your food around
and ensure even heat exposure.
o
Using heat-proof gloves, you can also shake the accessory to
make sure the food ends up flat and evenly spaced.
•
When
cooking on ‘fast air fry,
pay close attention to your food to
prevent that the outside cooks faster than the inside. This mode is best
for reheating already cooked food or finishing off foods to ensure
maximum crispiness.
•
Some foods release water or oil when cooked. When cooking large
quantities of these types of food for an extended period, condensation
may build up, which could leave moisture on your countertop.
•
Cooking will be paused automatically if doors are opened, but timer
will continue to count down. Add more time if needed. To resume
cooking close the doors.
•
Use the baking pan in the lowest level to catch falling water, oil, or
crumbs.
•
Once you are done cooking and the appliance has cooled off
completely, turn the function knob back to OFF.
