2. Prepare the Bath

CAUTION: Risk of personal injury.

This bath is extremely heavy. Obtain sufficient help to carefully

lift or move the bath.

With help, position the bath on the finished floor exactly where it will be installed.

On the drain side of the bath, use a pencil to mark the center of the bath edge on the finished floor.

Along the edge of the bath, draw a pencil line 10

(254 mm) in each direction from the center mark.

Choose and mark the bath faucet location so the faucet water stream will not strike the drain.

Move the bath out of the way.

Use a square to locate and mark a line 11-5/16

(287 mm) in from the center of the pencil line. This

is the drain center location.

Mark and cut a 6-1/2

(165 mm) wide by 10-1/2

(267 mm) long hole through the floor centered

around the drain center location mark.

Position the faucet supply lines. Cap the supplies and check for leaks.
