Pre- and post-winter maintenance
After a certain period of use, deposits can appear on the side of the glass facing the fire.
These deposits can be removed with a moist cloth or a non-abrasive detergent (e.g. a
cleaning product for ceramic glass). Do not use corrosive or abrasive products to clean
any part of the fire. Damage to the paint is not covered by the warranty. Minor
deterioration can be touched up with a special Kal-fire heat-resistant paint that is
available from your installer.

Removing the glass
Step 1:
Fold the metal frame at the top of the fire
upwards. (This does not apply to corner or 3-sided
models.)
