c.  Remove the backing from a rubber bumper and securely insert it into the 

foot’s cavity. 

d.  Repeat 5.a. through 5.c. with each foot.  

 

6.  Re-attach the servo and multifunction modules, 

as follows

 

WARNING 
Using the notes and photographs taken in step 1, ensure each module is placed into the 
correct bay.  Failure to do so will result in unpredictable behavior and may cause 
system damage.

 

 

WARNING 
If the module connector and interior frame connector are not adequately aligned then 
damage can be done to the connector pins.  If damage is done to the pins then the 
module will not function correctly and will need to be returned to Kairos for repair. 

 

a. Manually slide the module through 

the exterior frame slot from which it 
was removed during step 2.b. 

b.  Visually align the module connector
