START/STOP button: To stop the receiver alarm, press the
START/STOP button.
Note:
Pressing the STARTSTOP on the receiver will shut off only the
receiver alarm, not the transmitter alarm. Also, the operations (such as
timers and low temperature cooking) will keep running until the user stops
using the transmitter.
Button: To turn off the receiver manually, press button. The screen
will shut off and enter the stand-by mode.
Note: This shut-off operation is invalid while the receiver is searching
for a signal (i.e. the icon is STEADY on screen).
Backlight on receiver: The backlight of the receiver will be triggered by
pressing the START/STOP or the MODE button.
2.3. Alarm –The thermometer (i.e. transmitter and receiver) will alarm,
and the backlight will be on (alarm and flashing for 30 seconds). Also,
the thermometer will keep alarming (5 seconds) and backlight will
keep flashing (5 seconds) every minute.
The transmitter will transmit an alarm signal to the receiver if:
The browning timer (in the browning process of low temperature
cooking) has completed, or
The alarm temperature is reached (in cooking process of low
temperature cooking), or
The alarm temperature is reached (in cooking process of regular
cooking), or
Any of the timers has completed
