Before you start installation
1. Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher must be installed on your computer.

All Windows 2000, XP Home or Pro (SP2) machines have newer versions of Internet Explorer.
2. The Palm Desktop software OS version 4.0 or higher or the Windows Mobile 2000 OS Version 5.0 or higher
must be installed on your computer.
3. Microsoft Excel

version 2000 or higher must be installed on your computer.
CD Menu Items:

System Requirements:
Select this item to verify the software installation compatibility issues.
2.
View User Guide:
Select this to access an electronic version of the E-Plex Standard User Guide on the CD
and to view the On-Line Help of the software.
3.
Install Acrobat Reader:
Select this to install the free Adobe Acrobat reader, if you do not already have it
installed on your system. You need it to view the manual.
4.
Install Internet Explorer 5.0:
Select this item to install Internet Explorer 5.0 if you do not have it on your
computer.
The Actual product software – E-Plex Standard software and the M-Unit software below must be installed in all cases:

Install E-Plex Standard software:
Select this item to install the main E-Plex Standard application.
6.
Install M-Unit software:
Select this to install the M-Unit software that will be transferred (HotSynced or
ActiveSynced) later to the handheld Palm or Windows Mobile OS based PDA device.
Note:
You can only install the M-Unit program, either for a palm OS based PDA or for a Windows Mobile
OS based PDA on this computer but not both at the same time.
After installation is complete, follow the instructions about re-starting your computer.
