Removing the Camera from the Marine Case

Thoroughly rinse the marine case in a
container filled with fresh water.
•
Push the buttons while the marine case
is submerged and rinse the dirt out
from any gaps or grooves.
•
If the marine case was used in seawater,
submerge the marine case in fresh
water for at least 1 hour to remove salt.

Take the marine case out of the water and wipe off water droplets on
the case surface using a dry cloth.

Open the front lid and remove the camera.
Caution
•
Turn the buckle with the front lid facing up. The camera may fall out if
the buckle is opened with the front lid facing down.
•
Make sure that water droplets from parts such as the buckle and O-ring
do not get inside the marine case.
•
If you cannot avoid opening the marine case at the diving location,
pay attention not to let water droplets from your hair or your body get
inside the case.
Maintenance on the Marine Case

Remove the O-ring.
•
Use a pick to remove the O-ring
to prevent the O-ring and O-ring
groove from being damaged.

Wipe off any sand, dust, or other
foreign matter from the O-ring.
•
Clean up the O-ring groove as
well.
•
Gently bend the O-ring to check
for any cracks in the O-ring.
