COMMUNICATION
This option allows you to configure the status of the RS-232 communication port when connected to an
external device, and the Ethernet communications settings. (Please refer to the RS-232 Protocol and
Network Function for more details)
COMM ID:
Communication ID for RS-232 and RS-485 communication. After the VR-601
receives a RS-232 or
RS-485 command, it checks if the <Dest ID> within the code is the same as the COMM ID, in which case
the particular command can be accept.
RS-232:
The RS-232 communication port can be either in an importing or exporting mode according to your
applications.
ON:
Enables the RS-232 communication port. When you wish the unit to be controlled by an
external device, please select this entry for use.
OFF:
Disables the RS-232 communication port.
RS-485:
The RS-485 communication port can be either in an importing or exporting mode according to your
applications.
ON:
Enables the RS-485 communication port. When you wish the unit to be controlled by an
external device, please select this entry for use.
OFF:
Disables the RS-485 communication port.
NET ENABLE:
This option selects either enable or disable for the Ethernet communication port.
OFF:
Disables it.
ON:
Enables it.
