Prior to performing the following procedure, remove 
the clamper base / tray and the CD servo board.

Remove the screw

  attaching the CD mechanism 

assembly.

Move the CD mechanism assembly backward to 
release the two joints

 of the CD base on the front 

side.

When reassembling, fit the front part of the
