The Clock is the heart of all timer
functions. You must set the clock before
any timer functions will work. Your clock
can be set automatically by using a
broadcast signal available in most areas.

NOTES:
To use the Semi-
Auto function, first
tune the television
to your local PBS
station. PBS
stations transmit the
EDS or XDS signal
needed to set the
clock..
DAYLIGHT
SAVINGS TIME
This function
automatically
adjusts for Daylight
Savings time. At
2:00 am on the first
Sunday in April, the
clock moves
forward one hour.
At 2:00 am on the
last Sunday in
October the clock
moves back one
hour.
POWER OUTAGE
If the TV is
unplugged or you
experience a power
outage of more
than 90 seconds,
you must reset the
clock in order for
any of your timer
functions to work.
If power is interrupt -
ed for less than 90
seconds, the clock
will continue to run,
but will be delayed
the length of the
power interruption
(for example if the
power was
interrupted for 45
seconds, the clock
will be 45 seconds
slow). It is best to
check the clock
after any interrup -
tion in power.
