Select the external component.
Each time you press the button, you can select the CD
automatic changer and the external component alternately.
Note:
When selecting an external component as the source, what appears on the upper part of the
display depends on the “AUX” setting (see page 32).

EXTERNAL COMPONENT OPERATIONS
Using auxiliary players
After connecting an external component to the auxiliary input jack on the front panel, you can
select the component as the sound source.

Note:
Use a stereo mini-plug cord to connect
an external component to the unit.
Note on One-Touch Operation:
When you press CD-CH/AUX, the power automatically comes on. You do not have to press
to turn on the power.
Using a subwoofer
By connecting a subwoofer with the SUB WOOFER cord on the rear, enhanced bass sound
can add a more realistic, theater atmosphere to your stereo system.
• Refer also to the instructions supplied with your subwoofer.
To select the frequency cutoff point, refer to “Selecting the frequency cutoff point” on page 32.
To adjust the subwoofer volume, refer to “Adjusting the sound” on page 23.
