Selecting a Shooting Mode
Selecting the Full Auto / Manual Shooting
Mode
There are two adjustment modes for shooting, namely the Full Auto
and Manual modes.

Setting to the Full Auto shooting mode
When [FULL AUTO] button is pressed once, the current adjustment
mode is displayed. Pressing [FULL AUTO] button while the mode
is displayed changes the setting.

Press the [FULL AUTO] button to display the
Full Auto shooting mode icon (

) at the top of
the screen.

Exposure, aperture, shutter speed, and white balance are
adjusted automatically.

Setting to the Manual shooting mode

Press [FULL AUTO] button to display the
Manual shooting mode icon (
M
) at the top of
the screen.

Even when the Manual shooting mode is set, the aperture
and shutter speed are adjusted automatically if their icons
are not displayed.

To adjust the shutter speed manually, press the
[SHUTTER] button, and change the value using the [ADJ.]
knob.

and change the value using the [ADJ.] knob.

Selecting a Focusing Mode
There are two focusing modes, namely Auto and Manual.

Setting to the Auto Focus mode

Set the focus switch to [AF] to display the Auto
Focus icon (AF) on the screen.

Focus is adjusted automatically.

Setting to the Manual Focus mode

Set the focus switch to [MF] to display the
Manual Focus icon (MF) on the screen.
