To print using the DPOF setting
If the printer is compatible with DPOF, you can
use the DPOF setting. (

Perform steps

Press
MENU
. The menu screen appears.

Press Up (

) or Down (

) to select
“DIRECT PRINT”, and press
SET
. A message
“PLEASE CONNECT PRINTER” appears.

Connect the camcorder to the printer with
USB cable.

After a while, the print menu appears.

) to select “DPOF
PRINT”, and press
SET
.

“PRINT”, and press
SET
.
The image is printed.

To confirm the DPOF setting, select “CHECK
SETTINGS”, and press

. You can check
images and number of prints by pressing

) to select “RETURN”, and

.
NOTE:
If the printer is not recognised, or to print again after
direct printing with a PictBridge Printer, remove the
USB cable, select “DIRECT PRINT” in the menu
again, and then reconnect the cable.
You can initialise a memory card any time.
After initialising, all files and data stored in the
memory card, including those which have been
protected, are cleared.

Set the
VIDEO/MEMORY
switch to
“MEMORY”.

Set the power switch to “PLAY” while
pressing down the lock button located on the
switch.

Press
MENU
. The menu screen appears.

“FORMAT”, and press
SET
. The FORMAT
screen appears.

“EXECUTE”, and press
SET
. The memory card
is initialised.
●
When initialization is finished, “NO IMAGES
STORED” appears.
●
To cancel initialization, select “RETURN”.
CAUTION:
Do not perform any other operation (such as turning
off the camcorder) during initialization. Also, be sure
to use the provided AC adapter, as the memory
card may be corrupted if the battery becomes
exhausted during initialization. If the memory card
becomes corrupted, initialise it.
