While the HDD or DVD-RAM is recording a
programme, you can watch a recorded
portion of a programme even before
recording ends. (Live Memory Playback)

For DVD-RAM, Live Memory Playback cannot be
performed within approximately 30 seconds from the
start of recording.

When using Live Memory Playback during timer
recording, the unit remains turned on and playback
continues even after recording ends.

If timer recording starts during Live Memory Playback
on DVD-RAM, the recording destination will be the
HDD even if recording on DVD-RAM has ended.
