3.1.8 Removing the 5CD changer mechanism assembly
(See Figs.17 to 22)
• Remove the metal cover, rear panel and amplifier board.
(1) From the top side of the main body, disconnect the card
wire from the connector FW101 on the FL board of the front
panel assembly. (See Fig.17.)
(2) Remove the spacer and remove the card wire from the sec-
tions k on the shield. (See Fig.17.)
(3) From the right side of the main body, remove the spacer
and remove the card wires from the sections m of the
shield. (See Fig.18.)
(4) From the both sides of the main body, remove the four
screws M and remove the shield from the main body. (See
Figs.18 and 19.)
(5) From the both sides of the main body, remove the four
screws N and remove the 5CD changer mechanism as-
sembly from the main body in the direction of the arrow.
(See Figs.20 and 21.)
(6) From the top side of the 5CD changer mechanism assem-
bly, remove the two screws P and two screws Q and re-
move the base 1 and base 2. (See Fig.22.)
(7) From the bottom side of the 5CD changer mechanism as-
sembly, disconnect the wire from the connector CW104 on
the mechanism control board. (See Fig.22.)
Reference:
When the resolution of 5CD changer mechanism assembly is
done sequentially, release the claws
n of the tray panel and re-
move the five tray panels from the 5CD changer mechanism
assembly. (See Fig.22.)
Note:
When releasing the claws n , take care not to break them. (See
Fig.22.)
